US trip 2019 as author and reader
Was in LA and Houston for a few days in January, and managed to make some bookish visits to places.
My main stop in LA was The Ripped Bodice, an indie, romance-focused bookstore. It was my second time to visit and it’s so good to see Rebekah, Sarah, and Georgette again–and meet Alexis for the first time!

I signed and left a sticker in a copy of Interim Goddess of Love there!

I also had a really Interesting meeting on Sunset Boulevard, that has given me things to think about, and more interesting conversations with people.

In Houston I visited Brazos Bookstore. What an interesting selection and friendly, bookish people working there! (Not very romancey though, unless I missed a shelf or two.) Murder by the Book is on the same street! I wasn’t prepared to stock up on crime/mystery but I did get Hidden Legacy books primarily for the Houston connection.

Next time I’ll make an effort to visit the US East coast and do the same thing, and meet people. Welcoming your suggestions!
